Splish S.P.L.O.S.H. Summer Program!
(Speech, Play, Language, Occupational Therapy, Social Skills, and Having Fun)
Looking for a daily therapeutic summer program for your son or daughter to this summer? Look no further! Splish S.P.L.O.S.H. is all set to run starting July 6, 2021 in a modified half day program. We will offer both a three hour AM and a three hour PM time slot, exact times TBD, with plenty of time spent outdoors and in well ventilated rooms. As with years past, this is a four-week, five-day camp, with the exception of the first week which is four days.
We are happy to report that we had a very successful four-weeks of a modified Splish S.P.L.O.S.H. Summer Program last summer (2020)! All State and County COVID-19 guidelines were followed including mandatory masks, daily health and temperature screenings, and small group sizes. We look forward to providing the same great, safe, experience this year.
We will be mindful to continue following guidance from the CDC and our local governments to make sure that we are following all necessary safety protocols to make this a safe and fun experience. We anticipate having six-seven children in each group to ensure a low total number of individuals, and to keep our ratio of therapists to kids high.
Splish S.P.L.O.S.H. Details
Our summer program is unique as we have licensed and registered occupational therapists and speech language pathologists running the program. This allows us to place emphasis on social skills while supporting your child’s language, fine motor, and sensory motor development. We move between large and small group activities throughout the day. The perfect opportunity for a “jump start” before school begins in the Fall!

Summer Handwriting Groups!
Blast off to Kindergarten
This group is designed for our rising Kindergartners. We will be walking your child through the Kickstart to Kindergarten Handwriting without Tears book so they will be familiar with both upper- and lower-case letters ahead of Kindergarten.
Zoom (but not that zoom) into First Grade
This group is designed for our rising First Graders. We will be walking your child through the Kindergarten Handwriting without Tears book, this way your child is ready to hit the road running in First Grade.
Sliding into Second Grade
This group is designed for our rising Second Graders. We will be walking your child through the First Grade Handwriting without Tears book so they can easily “slide” right into the Second Grade curriculum.
When: Groups will run two times a week, Monday and Tuesday afternoons (after 3pm, though the exact times are still being determined) for 1 hour. These groups will be held during the month of August starting Monday August 2nd and finishing on Tuesday August 24th.
Price: $560 per child. This price includes the 8 sessions, the Handwriting without Tears book selected for your child’s group, and medium resistance putty.

We will be asking the children to wear their masks for the duration of the group. We will also make sure that they are spaced at least three feet apart.
We are capping each group at 3 kids to ensure more individualized attention so reserve your spot today! Our therapist, Kristina Stewart, will be leading these groups and she cannot wait to share her love of handwriting with everyone!
